Things I've Learned About While Writing (Erin)

One of the most fun things about being an author is learning about all sorts of random, interesting topics you would never have taken the time to research otherwise.

Here is a list of topics, in no particular order, that I have learned about since I started this crazy fun writing journey.

  • The Pink Panthers jewelry smuggling ring
  • How to set a trip wire flare
  • Vietnamese desserts
  • Driving distance from Bucharest to Alba Iulia
  • The difference between types of granite and igneous rock
  • National Guard cave rescue procedures
  • Symptoms of sepsis and stroke
  • The definition and medical incidence of lithopedion
  • Elevation of the Carpathian Mountains
  • Origin of Sylvan Lake
I’m sure there are tons more, but these are the ones that came to mind. For details, you'll have to read my books. (If they ever get published. . . I am set to begin revising Book 1 on June 1st. After that, I'll be sending it out to agents, publishers, and/or editors. I'll keep you posted!)

What topic have you learned more about, since becoming a writer?
If you aren’t a writer (yet!), what is something you’ve always wanted to learn more about?
Post a comment and let me know!
