When I was growing up, my family always cut down a Christmas tree and decorated it while we listened to Engelbert Humperdinck and The Chipmunks records. We would do a "snack night" with pizza rolls and dips and other goodies the night before Christmas Eve while we watched A Christmas Carol with Alastair Sim. And my mom still makes homemade pizza every Christmas Eve. I prefer white lights, I think because we always had colored ones growing up and I wanted something different :) So far we've stuck with fake trees, with only lights and no ornaments the past few years in the hope that the boys won't destroy anything. We have tons more traditions as well. Speaking of Christmas, I'm reading The Dark is Rising now for the first time since I was little. I love it, and it takes place during Christmas, so it's really fun. I love Christmas. :)Spruce Holly Nogardhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13726989495903112876noreply@blogger.com
