I love Mo Willem's silly stories (Knuffle Bunny, and Don't Let The Pigeon Drive The Bus), the zany genius of Sandra Boynton (everything she writes!), and the beautifully illustrated books of Chris Van Allsburg (The Mysteries of Harris Burdick would be great for story starters!)
