What are Your Favorite Autumn or Back-to-School Books? (Laura)

The back-to-school time of year can be daunting, even for those of us who enjoy the classroom. Whether you are a student now or you've been one, what books with academic settings have gotten you hyped for the school year?

A. Harry Potter, by JK Rowling
B. Princess Academy, by Shannon Hale
C. Fangirl, by Rainbow Rowell
D. Jane Eyre, by Charlotte Bronte
E. A Little Princess, by Frances Hodgson Burnett
F. Wonder, by RJ Palacio
G. Blank notebooks excite me most!

  1. Hmm, of these books, I've read B, D, E, and F, but I can't say that I have a traditional "back to school book." Of course, that may be partly because I'm homeschooled. :) And I don't think Jane Eyre or A Little Princess would get me excited for school so much as making me dread it. :)

  2. Fun idea, Laura! I don't think I have any specific books that got me psyched for the school year, but these are some excellent options. I did always enjoy the start of a new school year in the Harry Potter books, and Fangirl brought back some great (and some awkward) college memories :)
